Blueprint for Capital is a small business training program for established business owners at the stage of business where growth requires capital infusion. In this program, participants will learn to speak “Financial-ese” – the language of business and financing. Whether you have previously received or plan to seek financing, you will perform a comprehensive financial analysis to strengthen your financial position and make a strong pitch for your capital needs.

Growing companies that are ready to scale and need an infusion of capital. This could include purchasing equipment, upgrading technology, acquiring inventory and expansion, or fulfilling contracts.

Participants in Blueprint for Capital with conduct an in-depth financial analysis of their companies and use the data and information to develop a 3-year strategic plan to determine when additional capital could be required to achieve business goals.

Rick Miller of Pro356, is a business consultant who will serve as the 2024 cohort facilitator. Rick will arrange subject-matter experts to join the group as common challenges are uncovered. He will also visit each company to see the operations firsthand and work with each participant to identify any capital/financing challenges the company may be facing that slows or prohibits growth. From this, Rick can better understand the goals of the growth plan as it is developed and advise accordingly.

Through the nine week program, participants will develop a milestone-driven growth plan for their organizations. This plan is presented as a three-year growth plan to a panel of business and financing experts for feedback, advice, and encouragement.

In order to qualify for the program, the applicant business must be the business owner or key decision maker, demonstrate at least $200,000 in revenue, and have been in business for at least two years.

This course is offered once per year and accepts only 20 applicants. The next course will be available in the summer of 2025.
